Aerial hammock class is a unique and fun class inspired by aerial yoga, contemporary circus and aerial dance movement. We will start the class with a hammock and floor sequence which will increase your blood flow, improve the range of motion and stretch the muscles. Afterwards we will use the anti-gravity fitness techniques and the fabric to work on strengthening and conditioning your overall body such as arms, abs and legs. We will train mostly in the air, and you will soon realise how much fun and (sometimes) challenging it can be! After the stretching and strengthening exercises, you will then learn some beautiful poses, combos or transitions that are related to the aerial silk and circus acrobats. We will end the class with the relaxation exercises in the hammock, which you can enjoy the support and the massage sensation that the fabric gives you.
This class is open to everyone; prior experience is not required because instructor will explain every pose step by step. Wear leggings and T-shirt to the class.
