Pole Beginner Teacher Training

About this training
The PIDS Pole Teacher Training is designed to transform your passion for pole fitness into professional teaching skills. You’ll gain knowledge in safety, structured teaching, creative class design, and inclusivity. The main goal of this program is to provide a strong foundation for teaching pole fitness responsibly and effectively.
This training is guided by instructors Apple, Salem, and Solomiia. You will receive a manual with 50+ beginners moves and tools needed to design engaging lessons, demonstrate safe spotting, provide clear cues, guide technique progressions, and to adapt to the diverse needs of the students.
Training structure
The program consists of 4 sessions of 5 hours with each session focussing on a specific topic as shown below. The homework will take about 5 hours in total.
Day One – Foundations, Cueing and Pole Techniques
Day Two – Spotting, Pole Techniques, Teaching Skills, and Static Flow
Day Three – Expanding Knowledge, Pole Techniques, and Spinning Flow
Day Four – Class Planning, Integration, and Assessment
Prerequisites
To join this program, you must have at least an intermediate level, meaning you should:
- be able to invert in the air
- have at least practiced pole for at least one year, with at least one lesson a week
- be able to perform tricks at ease: butterfly, outside leg hang, inside leg hang, brass monkey
- have basic understanding of fundamental moves and grips like fireman, basic climb and front/backward spin
Certification
This training is Centraal Register Kort Beroepsonderwijs (CRKBO).
After successfully completing the practical assessment on day four you will receive your certificate of completion.
FAQ
Yes, you don’t have to pay the full amount at once but can pay the tuition in two terms.
The first payment term is € 325,- and is to be paid on registration. The second payment term is € 250,- and is to be paid within one month after registration.
Expect to spend around 25 hours in total for the full program. This includes 20 hours of lessons (5 hours per day over 4 days) and 5 hours of homework and self-study.
After successfully completing this training you can teach a Pole beginners class on level 1 and 2.
